Sending Large Files

We have all been in the position where we need to send a document to a colleague or client and it is just too big to send in an email.  There are many solutions out there to this common problem; however, most of them require a user to have an account on the system and/or have a specific piece of software installed on their computer, which just won’t work for us.  That being said we have come across a great application that doesn’t require an account on either end, doesn’t matter what operating system is used, is easy to use, and best of all, it is Free!

In steps www.wetransfer.com.  This website has a sleek user interface and allows you to send files up to 2GB to any email address simply by typing in your email address and the recipient’s email address.  It gets sent out and the user gets an email and is able to download the document(s), and you get a notification when they downloaded the document.  Couldn’t be simpler. Wetransfer.com even has custom channels so you can have a page that is dedicated to your company, allowing you to customize the design, look, etc…

So the next time you are trying to cram 50 pictures into an email to send to friends and family try wetransfer.com and save you and your mail server the headache.
